Carlos Abadi
Carlos Abadi has been advising government officials, executive and banks for more than two decades. He established Abadi and Co. in 1991 and has remained a steady force in the emerging markets. The Argentine-born investment banker played a large hand in the reorganization of Refco in 2006, where is he still a board member.
Carlos Abadi acted as an advisor to the United States Senate when he prepared a report on international trade. Carlos Abadi is a member of the Advisory Board of Roubini Gloobal Economics (RGE) Monitor, a high-profile economics Web site.
Carlos Abadi is the Director of the Argentine-American Society, which is a non-profit aimed at raising funds for victims of the 2001-2002 Argentine collapse. Carlos Abadi’s philanthropic works include supporting the Inwood House, a New York City-based non-profit that addresses teen pregnancy and poverty.
Carlos Abadi has also given lectures about commerce to students at prestigious institutions, such as Harvard University, New York University and Columbia University.
