Kennedys to attend benefit in Courtney Ross’ home in Georgica this weekend

The memorial foundation created in 1968 in honor of slain New York Senator and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy will hold its first-ever fund-raiser on the East End this Saturday, July 26, at the Georgica home of Ross School founder Courtney Sale Ross.

Mr. Kennedy’s widow, Ethel, and three of his 11 children, Kerry, Courtney and Rory, will attend the $500 to $2,500 per person event, which will benefit the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial’s human rights efforts. Mr. Kennedy’s niece, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, who lives in Sagaponack, is not expected to attend.

The event will be a casual gathering for cocktails and light supper on the lawn of Ms. Ross’s Georgica Pond estate. It will feature a presentation highlighting the work that the Kennedy Memorial has done over 40 years in support of those fighting poverty and tackling pressing social issues in the United States and abroad.
